The Third Annual Conference of EALTA, Krakow, Poland, 19 – 21 May, 2006

CALL FOR PAPERS

Theme: Bridging the gap between Theory and Practice

Proposals are invited for the following types of presentation:

  • papers
  • work-in-progress reports
  • posters

Papers will be allocated 20 minutes for presentation, with 10 minutes discussion.

Work-in-progress reports will be allocated 10 minutes for presentation, with 10 minutes for discussion, in the course of a session allocated to this.

Posters display will be held in a session allocated to this, when the presenters will have the opportunity to discuss their work informally with other participants. The posters will then remain on display for the rest of the conference.

The presentations should reflect the theme of the conference, and may deal with such issues as standard setting, ethics in testing, teacher training in testing and assessment, or other matters that are salient to the quality of the assessment of language.

Submission Details

  • Please complete the proposal form and save with abstract as a Microsoft Word (.doc) file using the following title: EALTA2006yoursurnamefirstinitial e.g. EALTA2006jonesb.doc
  • Proposals should be sent by e-mail to ealta@socrates.org.pl by December 3rd, 2005
  • IMPORTANT: When submitting your proposal please make the email subject field the same title as your file: EALTA2006yoursurnamefirstinitial e.g. EALTA2006jonesb
  • You will be told whether your paper has been accepted or not, by February 13th 2006.
